Botticelli - A Mini Muse

When studying photography, Derek Crabtree my wonderful teacher at Richmond College, gave us some fun assignments to teach some important techniques.
Luckily I was not short of models . . . what else are siblings for!? Daisy was at the perfect age - I could still  convince her that this was the most fun thing to do - ever. My charms had worn off with Lucy a little. Making her hold my music while I practised Violin tipped her over the edge. SO my little Daisy became the model for every project.

This is one of my favourites from a 'depth of field' assignment.
Daisy is also known as Botticelli. I thought it appropriate as she used to remind me of the luscious cherubs and babies in the paintings of Sandro Botticelli.

  1. She looks so angelic and trusting every word you said. A Mini Muse - I like that. Do you need a Mummy Muse? mmm, maybe not.
